About The Position

Orchard is looking for an entry-level Title Operations Coordinator to ensure consistent and timely closings processed by Orchard Title. You will be responsible for collaborating with the escrow team to support executing tactical components of escrow transactions according to standardized procedures, including opening title orders, notarizing closing packages, ordering title documents, auditing closing packages, cutting checks and fielding communications both internally and externally. You will also support various operational initiatives for the Title Team, including managing key aspects of Orchard’s mobile notary platform to ensure seamless and timely closings as well as assisting with marketing-related projects. The ideal candidate is highly attentive to detail, an excellent multi-tasker, great problem solver, strong communicator and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment to ensure a seamless closing experience for buyers, sellers, and their agents. This is an ideal for someone who is interested in pursuing a career in title, mortgage, or real estate. This is an in office, full-time role that will report into the Lead, Mariah Mireles and be based out of our growing Austin, TX office.

Responsibilities

  • Audit closing packages and prepare lender packages
  • Print, sign and notarize closing documents
  • Drive time-sensitive, detail-oriented tasks from file open through post-closing
  • Receive and process a high volume of contracts and closing documents during the life cycle of a transaction from order open to post-closing
  • Liaise with various internal teams as we resolve customer issues
  • Provide excellent customer service while answering incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate teams, and utilize resources to problem solve to find solutions
  • Manage multiple inboxes ensuring timely responses and efficient handling of correspondence
  • Supporting Orchard’s mobile notary company to ensure seamless closings
  • Orchard Title marketing support
  • Be the person who tackles whatever-comes-up to help us deliver an amazing home selling/buying experience for our customers
  • Assist with funding tasks
