We are currently seeking an Operations Coordinator to support our field teams and ensure smooth day-to-day operations within a structured, high-volume, and highly regulated environment.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role (coordination, operations, administration, or workforce support)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a structured, fast-paced, and high-volume environment
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Outlook, internet-based tools, Excel, and workforce management systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with operational teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a unionized environment
  • Knowledge of the security industry or operational environments
  • Experience with workforce scheduling tools (e.g., GSked)
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Assist with workforce scheduling in collaboration with field teams
  • Review timesheets and resolve discrepancies as needed
  • Manage leave requests and vacation scheduling
  • Follow up on invoicing and payroll adjustments
  • Maintain and update internal systems (e.g., schedules, employee records)
  • Coordinate the distribution and tracking of uniforms and operational equipment
  • Coordinate follow-ups related to employee files (absences, employee movements, compliance requirements)
  • Ensure adherence to company procedures, collective agreements, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in occupational health and safety initiatives
  • Support recruitment and staffing activities
  • Participate in candidate interviews and employee onboarding activities
  • Coordinate training activities in collaboration with operations teams
  • Provide day-to-day support to managers and field teams
  • Participate in operational meetings and client follow-up activities as required
  • Respond to ad hoc requests and urgent operational situations
