About The Position

The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of tasks including AP invoice management, purchase order receipts, human resources coordination, daily reporting, month-end close support, shipping functions, and other administrative support. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a manufacturing office environment.

Requirements

  • High School degree required
  • Above average skills in communication both oral and written
  • Above average skills in organization and attention to detail
  • Demonstrates ability to work as a teamwork and effectively manage through others
  • Demonstrates the ability to work under pressure and multi-task

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in manufacturing office and/or accounting preferred
  • Experience with Sage Software and Microsoft applications a plus

Responsibilities

  • Code invoices and communicate to the accounts payable department
  • Scan picking slips to Corporate shared folders
  • Receipt Non-Stock supplies
  • Receipt Raw material (Sawdust)
  • Receipt Packaging Material
  • Work with senior Human Resource staff on all initiatives including but not limited to: onsite HR support, new employee onboarding support, payroll support, time and attendance support, general HR recordkeeping, and onsite benefits coordination.
  • Review daily production and packaging reports, update finished goods inventory
  • Support the finance department on all month end close procedures including but not limited to physical inventory and accounts payable Invoice management.
  • Printing BOLs/Picking slips
  • Reconciling BOLs and managing all outbound/inbound shipment functions in Sage.
  • Communicating shipment activity with the accounts receivable department for purposes of invoicing.
  • Signing trucks in and out of the plant for outgoing shipments.
  • Provide support to the Plant Manager and onsite safety program
  • Update daily reports as assigned
  • Postal mail and daily package distribution
  • Other assigned duties
