About The Position

GFL is looking for a new Team member for our Municipal and Special Household Waste (MHSW) Program at our Napanee location, which services Eastern and Northern Ontario. If you're ready for a Project Coordination role assisting our Team in serving our Municipal partners with the recycling and disposal of regulated and hazardous waste, we look forward to speaking with you. Requirements

  • Exceptional Organization: Ability to manage multiple moving parts across concurrent projects.
  • Clear Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively translate management directives to field staff and update clients.
  • Adaptability: Capacity to thrive and adapt where priorities can shift based on client needs or internal resource limitations.
  • Team Player: A collaborative attitude with a strong desire to support leadership, our field personnel, and our clients.
  • Strong Computer Skills: Strong data manipulation skills, including PivotTables and conditional formatting, used to analyze waste volumes, track budgets, and consolidate field data.
  • Highly proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 and the ability to learn new software platforms as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Being bilingual in French is an asset but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Produce work orders and instructions.
  • Communicate with other departments to dispatch trucks, equipment, and personnel.
  • Assist in finding, maintaining, and scheduling supporting vendors to assist our onsite team as needed.
  • Create and maintain shared files to support leadership and management with ongoing program requirements.
  • Assist with project databases, track project budgets, and generate progress reports for the management team.
  • Support Management with existing contractual components, maintain current client profiles, and assist in preparing new proposals for future growth.
  • Enter data and generate reports for internal and external reporting portals.
  • Communicate with clients and assist in actioning new requests.
  • Receive physical documentation and organize both electronic and physical data related to the weekly event schedule.
  • Create and maintain shared files to support the leadership and management Team with the ongoing program requirements.
  • Assist with project databases, track project budgets, and generate progress reports for the management team.
