About The Position

The Operations Clerk 1 role involves comprehensive support across various operational functions including production and sample coordination, order and documentation management, inventory and receiving, and logistics and freight coordination. Key responsibilities include preparing product samples, organizing job bags, ensuring accuracy of documentation, maintaining records, managing incoming goods, resolving discrepancies, tracking shipments, and entering freight data for accounting purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Select and prepare product samples for production orders
  • Assemble and organize job bags with all required materials and documentation
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of samples and job packets prior to production
  • Support sorting and staging of materials for production use
  • File and maintain organized records of job bags, orders, and samples
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, up to date, and easily accessible
  • Support administrative organization of production workflows
  • Receive incoming goods into the system accurately and in a timely manner
  • Match packing lists to purchase orders and verify quantities and items received
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies with vendors or internal teams
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the processing system
  • Track Bills of Lading (BOLs) for incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Communicate with freight carriers to obtain pricing and shipment details
  • Enter freight and shipping data for accounting and cost tracking purposes
