About The Position

Reporting to the Operations Business Director, you will provide operations and project management support to promote growth, brand maintenance, and productivity improvements. As the Supply Chain resource and commercialization lead, you will deliver project success criteria, ensure effective use of resources, and communicate priorities across all Supply Chain functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or Supply Chain functions.
  • Exposure to multiple Supply Chain and business disciplines, including purchasing, manufacturing, logistics, and research and development.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing unit operations.
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Experience supporting new product commercialization and startup processes.
  • Experience influencing and managing resources without direct reporting relationships.
  • Understanding of Supply Chain cost structures, including cost build up and financial performance.
  • Collaborative leadership style with experience navigating cross functional teams and conflict.

Responsibilities

  • Lead commercialization of new innovation, renovation, and capital projects for our plastic bottling network.
  • Coordinate and support cost build up, capital investment request development, material readiness, and scale up efforts.
  • Lead cost improvement initiatives to ensure annual productivity targets are achieved.
  • Partner with manufacturing facilities and other Supply Chain functions to support business objectives.
  • Drive process improvement and simplification initiatives, including active stock keeping unit rationalization, packaging standardization, and component and specification consolidation.
  • Lead strategic projects such as material supply, asset optimization, and sourcing initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment and prioritization of resources across the project portfolio.
  • Provide business planning support for portfolio segments and plant locations.
  • Monitor Supply Chain performance metrics and support development of improvement plans.
  • Promote adoption of business processes and tools, including project health tracking, stage gate reviews, and project management systems.
  • Support quality improvement strategies across Supply Chain.
  • Benchmark competitors and the food industry for new technologies and productivity strategies.
  • Communicate opportunities and risks to leadership.
