About The Position

Guitar Center seeks an Operations Associate to support store operations and help create a positive customer experience. The role is responsible for shipping and receiving stock and shipments, administering daily tasks, and ensuring products are merchandised for customers. Successful associates collaborate with teammates, focus on customer service, take initiative, manage priorities and details in a fast-paced environment, protect assets and people by following protocols, and learn the technology and retail systems needed for the job.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a loud environment for 5–8 hours.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks related to inventory control.
• Ship and receive gear and other items.
• Prepare and execute inventory cycle counts.
• Stock and merchandise products according to a planogram.
• Print and place signage and price signs (POP).
• Handle cash.
• Maintain awareness of and help control shrink.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
