About The Position

Guitar Center’s Operations Associate supports store operations by shipping and receiving stock and shipments, administering daily tasks, and ensuring products are merchandised to provide customers with a positive in-store experience. The role calls for collaboration, customer focus, initiative, strong organizational skills, and the ability to learn and use retail technology and systems. Associates help protect company assets and people by following protocols and guidelines.

Requirements

Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Able to work in a loud environment for 5–8 hours.
Able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

Perform tasks related to inventory control.
Ship and receive gear and other items.
Prepare and execute inventory cycle counts.
Stock and merchandise products according to a planogram.
Print and place signage and price signs (POP).
Handle cash.
Maintain shrink awareness and control.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
