About The Position

The Operations Associate creates an outstanding customer experience by performing store operations functions. This is an early morning position working with a team to complete operational tasks before the store opens. The role includes customer service; pricing and signing merchandise; replenishing and restocking the store; receiving and unloading merchandise; maintaining safe, clean, and organized backroom standards; supporting omnichannel services; and executing merchandise placement plans. Associates learn about merchandise, shrink, safety, productivity, and other business processes through peers and training materials.

The pay range is USD $17.00 to $21.25 per hour.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assistance to customers encountered while working throughout the store.
• Change merchandise ticket prices and signage across the store.
• Replenish and restock merchandise by pulling and preparing items for the sales floor so customers can find needed styles and sizes.
• Work with coworkers to unload trucks and prepare merchandise in the backroom.
• Keep the stockroom safe, clean, and organized.
• Contribute to omnichannel efforts, including Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, Order Delivery and Returns, shipping online orders, and merchandise receiving.
• Execute leadership's merchandise placement plans efficiently and with attention to detail.
• Maintain merchandising standards while moving goods to the sales floor.
• Learn about merchandise, shrink, safety, productivity, and other business processes through peers and training materials.
• Solve problems and make smart decisions that support sales, profit, or customer service; work efficiently and effectively; and encourage strong performance.
• Provide great customer service, build positive and respectful relationships, and take accountability for actions and outcomes.
• Look for ways to improve the customer experience, act with confidence and urgency, and do what is right.
