About The Position

The Operations Associate creates an outstanding customer experience by performing store operations functions. This is an early morning position working with a team to complete tasks before the store opens. The role includes assisting customers, handling pricing and signage, replenishing merchandise, receiving and unloading deliveries, maintaining backroom standards, supporting omnichannel services, and executing merchandising plans. Associates also learn about merchandise, shrink, safety, productivity, and other business processes.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist customers with questions or requests while working throughout the store.
• Change merchandise ticket prices and signage across the store.
• Pull and prepare merchandise for the sales floor to keep needed styles and sizes available.
• Work with coworkers to unload trucks and prepare merchandise in the backroom.
• Keep the stockroom safe, clean, and organized.
• Support omnichannel operations, including Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, Order Delivery and Returns, shipping online orders, and merchandise receiving.
• Execute leadership's merchandise placement plans efficiently and accurately, maintaining merchandising standards as goods are moved to the sales floor.
• Learn about merchandise, shrink, safety, productivity, and other business processes through peers and training materials.
