NorthCoast Asset Management, a Division of Kovitz Investment Group, is looking for an Operations Associate to join their team. Based in the Stamford, CT office, the Operations Associate is responsible for NCAM operational billing and financial reporting functions. This role will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations and Compliance. Primary responsibilities include daily reconciliation of 6000+ accounts, daily/quarterly valuation, performance reporting, billing, assessing, and supporting infrastructure needs and supporting trader’s daily activities.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Experience in the financial services industry
Beginner-level Python and/or VBA knowledge
Previous experience with portfolio accounting systems preferably SS&C Technologies Global Wealth Platform (GWP)

Responsibilities

Reconciling equity and option positions, cash, and transactions for all custodians
Troubleshooting system, custodial and client operational issues
Tabulating and reporting high risk items to management through daily, weekly and monthly operational risk reporting
Research and resolve breaks by interfacing trading staff and external parties.
Research and resolve client and strategy performance reporting issues.
