About The Position

The Kith Operations Associate manages the flow of merchandise from the central point of delivery to the retail sales floor. Working with the Operations Management team, this role supports efficient store operations and is responsible for the back-of-house, product organization, and upkeep. The position is part-time at the Williamsburg store and pays $18.00 per hour plus commissions; only permanent positions are eligible for commissions. The role partners with store leadership and the sales-floor team to keep products available and deliver timely, positive customer service. It also supports workspace safety and cleanliness, store housekeeping, physical inventories, and merchandising initiatives. The position requires flexible availability, including evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays, and work outside regular store hours when needed.

Requirements

1–2 years of experience working in a retail operations position.
Basic computer skills.
Efficient time management skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once.
Efficient communication with customers, peers, or direct reports.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including lifting and moving 25 pounds, bending, twisting, climbing ladders or step stools, and standing and walking for prolonged periods.
Open and flexible availability, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
Availability to consistently work weekends and support special projects, drops/releases, or other business needs.

Responsibilities

Partner with Store Leadership to execute tasks that streamline the product cycle.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure product is readily available for clients.
Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
Provide a friendly and welcoming environment to external and internal clients.
Work with the sales-floor team to ensure customers receive product in a timely manner.
Assist Operations Management in maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
Complete assigned tasks before or after regular store operating hours when necessary.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Promote and maintain an environment focused on exceptional, positive in-store customer service.
Maintain expert knowledge of products, company history, company policies, and store and company strategies.
Assist the store management team with housekeeping, including dusting, sweeping, collecting trash, and other standard retail operations tasks.
Participate in and assist with physical inventories as required by the business.
Assist the Merchandising team during visual initiatives as required by the business.
