About The Position

The Operations Associate is a part-time store team member responsible for driving profitability and efficiency through accurate inventory management and effective execution of store operations. The role works closely with the Operations & Visual Management team to complete work and provide feedback that supports optimal total-store operations. Responsibilities span inventory accuracy and shrink reduction, shipment and product flow, receiving and processing, replenishment, visual standards, stockroom processes, and maintaining a safe, efficient store environment. The associate also uses business metrics to support business-driving strategies and helps resolve client needs while contributing to a clean, safe, inviting store.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of prior work experience in a client-centric sales and operational environment.
• Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences.
• Self-motivated, with a desire to achieve results and excel individually and as part of a team.
• Align with and embody ALO’s Guiding Principles.
• Able to work up to 30 hours per week based on business needs, with a minimum shift of 4 hours.
• Available to work during the company’s blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving through the first week of January.

Responsibilities

• Execute inventory management processes to maximize inventory accuracy and reduce shrink.
• Investigate the root causes of inventory accuracy issues and partner with the General/Store Manager to escalate process or system gaps.
• Support shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intraday replenishment, floor-set updates, and supply management.
• Maintain and champion strong visual standards for the sales floor.
• Work with reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities to ensure they are maintained and maximized.
• Support a safe work environment and efficient operations through strong stockroom standards and processes.
• Move dynamically around the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests.
• Execute company-level operations-focused directives, projects, and initiatives in partnership with the Operations & Visual Management team.
• Assist with shipment processing and product flow, including visual merchandising placement and daily replenishment.
• Leverage metrics to support business-driving strategies.
• Resolve client needs quickly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify product concerns and communicate inventory needs to support business goals.
• When not assisting guests, take initiative to perform tasks needed to keep the store clean, safe, inviting, and efficient.
