About The Position

As a Union - Operations Associate - Shipping/Receiving you will be responsible for accurately performing assigned warehouse tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, as well as housekeeping of assigned areas. You will comply with operational, audit, safety and all other company policies. You will operate warehouse equipment including power equipment. Possesses a required understanding of job tasks assigned. This is a unionized position.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred
• Hand tool experience required
• Basic computer skills
• Basic problem-solving skills
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of warehouse operations preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform verification of returns and enter order receipts into computer system
• Perform quality assurance inspections
• Place received material into proper storage locations
• Utilize available computer equipment to stage and put away material
• Fill out log sheets for materials
• Assist in packing, labeling, wrapping and loading outbound trucks
• Accurately performing assigned warehouse tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, as well as housekeeping of assigned areas.
• Comply with operational, audit, safety and all other company policies.
• Operate warehouse equipment including power equipment.
