About The Position

Colony Brands, Inc. is one of the world’s largest and most successful direct marketing catalog and e-Commerce companies. To support our fulfillment operation in Peosta, IA we are seeking an Operations Assistant Supervisor to support the operations aspects of the distribution center.

Requirements

• Experience in a fulfillment or distribution center environment.
• Understanding of inventory management principles.
• Knowledge of shipping procedures.
• Ability to train and coach employees.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervisor in the preparations of fulfillment of productions, completion of inventory, coordinate staffing, and complete daily shipment records.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with both company and national standards or policies.
• Practice and enforce safe working techniques to establish a zero-accident environment while fostering a culture where employee safety is the top priority.
• Oversee employees working in both inbound and outbound positions.
• Train employees in both inbound and outbound departments.
• Coach and counsel employees on performance and offer suggestions for continuous improvement.
