Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience driving trucks or commercial vans with a clean driving record.
  • Commitment to maintaining a professional, yet casual, appearance.
  • Availability to work a 5-day shift, including Saturdays on an as-needed basis.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment screening.
  • At least 1 year of experience in route dispatch and/or warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Outstanding attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks and adherence to policies.
  • Ability to thrive and effectively manage tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a business work environment is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with healthcare services or related industry practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Director of Operations to support and optimize daily business operations.
  • Manage the end-to-end fulfillment process for the mailback program, coordinating with a 3PL provider, handling fulfillment, tracking shipments, resolving issues, and generating reports.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures by route drivers.
  • Manage the routing and dispatching of local operations to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for route drivers, providing guidance, support, and fostering improved performance and efficiency.
  • Assist in the seamless setup of new customers and maintain clear and professional communication with vendors.
  • Respond promptly to customer and vendor inquiries via phone and email.
  • Operate a company vehicle safely and compliantly to pick up medical waste from customer locations when required.
