MIC3 (Military Interstate Children's Compact Commission) provides for the uniform treatment of military children transferring between school districts and states. The Compact addresses key educational transition issues encountered by military families including enrollment, placement, attendance, eligibility and graduation. JOB SUMMARY Provide executive-level support and assistance to the Executive Director in the development and implementation of organizational governance, policies, procedures, and priorities. Assists with strategic plan development and implementation; overall organizational budget development and financial management; program development and project management. Interface and support the Executive Board. Supervises support staff as directed. Provide national regulatory interstate agency policy and program coordination support. This position is responsible for assisting with the management of commission activities, which includes conducting congressional, federal, and state-level intergovernmental relations and advocacy.
