Coyote Central is an education nonprofit that provides creative classes and public art opportunities to young people. Coyote Central sparks creativity in young people by putting tools in their hands to build skills and forge their future. Over 1,000 youth ages 10 to 15 come to Coyote Central year-round for hands-on workshops with professional artists, chefs, furniture makers, fashion designers, metal artists, animators, dancers, filmmakers, and many other creative people. Coyote Central is seeking a full-time Operations & Program Manager to assist with leading a small, collaborative staff dedicated to expanding access to creative opportunities for young people. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role helps ensure the organization runs smoothly and that workshops, classes, and events are implemented effectively. Our programs are the heart of our work. The Operations & Program Manager is responsible for day-to-day operational systems that support program delivery, coordinating logistics to ensure workshops, classes, and events run effectively, and maintaining administrative, financial, and compliance systems that support the organization. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role is primarily responsible for internal operations, administrative systems, financial tracking, and compliance. The Operations & Program Manager ensures the organization runs smoothly and that programs are supported by clear systems, consistent processes, and reliable execution. This role is distinguished from program-only positions by its ownership of internal operations, administrative systems, financial tracking, and compliance, and from traditional people-management roles by its focus on managing systems, workflow, and day-to-day execution. This role is primarily onsite while limited remote work may be possible for administrative tasks when programs are not in session. Evening and weekend availability is required during program sessions or special events.
