Operations Analyst
About The Position

Canterbury is seeking a highly motivated person looking for a full-time position as an Operations Analyst to support the smooth and efficient warehouse operations at our Burnaby location. As part of the Distribution & Logistics team, you will support operational performance across operational functions by developing and automating dashboards and analyzing operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. This role also supports the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, scheduling appointments, and maintaining operational documentation at a systems and administrative level. During peak periods or staffing shortages, the role may also provide hands-on support within warehouse operations to help ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or data analysis within manufacturing or distribution environments.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Excel (advanced), SQL, and ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics AX).
- Experience with HAACP, GMP, and SQF compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in both office and warehouse settings.
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams across multiple sites.
- Background in food manufacturing or regulated environments.
- Familiarity with WMS, OMS and automated systems.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and lean initiatives.
- Experience in inventory control, cycle counting and accuracy improvement initiatives.
