About The Position

As an operations analyst, you’re passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations for a creative solution. The Operations Analyst supports mission effectiveness by analyzing operational feedback and user needs, identifying capability gaps, and shaping clear, actionable requirements. The role works closely with operators, subject matter experts (SMEs), and technical or acquisition teams to refine tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), validate requirements, and support solution development. This role is responsible for analyzing operational feedback, lessons learned, and user needs to identify capability gaps, emerging requirements, and opportunities to enhance mission effectiveness. The position develops, evaluates, and refines TTPs in collaboration with operational users, SMEs, and partner organizations. It translates operational challenges into clear, traceable capability requirements and supports the creation of associated documentation, priorities, and recommended acquisition approaches. The role also coordinates across operational, technical, requirements, resourcing, and acquisition stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, aligned with organizational objectives, and responsive to end‑user needs. Additional responsibilities include supporting planning, experimentation, assessments, training events, and other activities that inform capability development and fielding decisions, as well as preparing briefings, reports, decision papers, and other products for leadership review.

Requirements

Experience analyzing operational data, mission feedback, or lessons learned
Ability to develop or refine requirements, concepts, or TTPs
Ability to produce clear, concise documentation for senior leadership
Ability to collaborate effectively across various operational, technical, and acquisition communities
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

Experience with analytical methods, research techniques, or modeling approaches
Experience with DoD or government acquisition processes
Experience preparing program briefs, documentation packages, or assessment reports
Experience with military or UAS operations
Ability to work comfortably in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments with evolving mission needs
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Master’s degree

Responsibilities
