Requirements

Must be an undergraduate student in 3rd or 4th year of studies or a graduate student in industrial engineering, business administration, information systems or another applicable field.

Responsibilities

Develops queries, reports, and analysis to support supply chain activities including inventory production levels to ensure on-time delivery of product to both internal and external customers
Monitors inventory and production flow, proactively supports adjustments to the production plan, and communicates any potential customer impacts
Supports production capacity, output, expense, and inventory forecasting for the monthly Sales, Inventory, Operations Planning (SIOP) process
Supports monthly and ongoing updates to production plan with a high level of customer service
Performs production and capacity planning analysis, develops operations metrics, and provides support for continuous improvement
Provides analysis and reporting support for tissue yield and resource optimization initiatives
Supports standard cost updates and performs cost estimates and analyses for new products and operations improvement projects
Conducts financial analyses for project payback and return on investment (ROI)
Supports quality assurance and system through historical data analysis to supports audits, statistical modeling, and design of experiments
Builds effective relationships and provides a high level of customer service with all RTI departments at all levels
