About The Position

This seasonal trainee position is part of the Operations Department within the Distribution Division. Operations includes Productions Services and Customer Operations, which oversee Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE) supply chain management, from procurement and manufacturing of physical products (DVD, BD, and 4K discs) through distribution to retail partners and in-store execution. The Trainee will learn the aspects of SPHE physical distribution and, based on business needs, support the relevant teams. The program runs from January 4 or 11, 2027, through December 17, 2027, with flexible start and end dates. Trainees must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, in person at the designated office location. The paid, seasonal assignment offers hands-on work, structured learning, executive engagement, and networking opportunities.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Assist with retail inventory planning, sales order distribution, and product delivery.
Support out-of-stock prevention, backorder management, exception resolution, and performance reporting.

Perform special projects and ad hoc analyses as requested by management or internal teams.
Support innovation and process-improvement opportunities within the team and across functional areas.
