Operations Analyst, Risk

As a fraud and risk management analyst at Public, you will play a crucial role in identifying and preventing fraud on a daily basis. Your responsibilities will include managing existing processes and functions, investigating suspicious activity, and implementing new controls and processes to ensure the platform remains safe from bad actors. You will also collaborate with the Data Analytics Team to analyze data, develop dashboards and tools, and incorporate new signals and technologies from third-party vendors. Additionally, you will work cross-functionally with various teams to scale and automate successful processes.

• Identify and prevent fraud on a daily basis
• Develop long-term fraud identification processes and procedures
• Manage existing processes and functions related to fraud and risk management
• Check dashboards and investigate suspicious activity
• Keep the platform safe from bad actors
• Launch new controls and processes in collaboration with the Data Analytics Team
• Analyze data to detect new ways to identify and mitigate fraud
• Develop dashboards and tools to monitor the business
• Work with 3rd party vendors to incorporate new signals and technologies
• Collaborate with product, engineering, finance, legal, and compliance teams to scale and automate successful processes

• Experience in fraud and risk management
• Ability to identify and prevent fraud on a daily basis
• Knowledge of developing long-term fraud identification processes and procedures
• Proficiency in managing existing processes and functions related to fraud and risk management
• Ability to check dashboards and investigate suspicious activity
• Strong analytical skills to analyze data and detect new ways to identify and mitigate fraud
• Experience in developing dashboards and tools to monitor business activities
• Familiarity with working with third-party vendors to incorporate new signals and technologies
• Ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, finance, legal, and compliance teams
