About The Position

Energy Transport Logistics is seeking a self-motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced environment and is able to multitask. This individual will be a key point of contact in a collaborative operation with dispatching and providing customer service, with addressing customer needs and inquiries. This individual will also provide support to internal and external customers’ needs with a proactive approach team environment. This individual must be a calming and effective problem solver with strong communication with our drivers and customers.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience can include cartage, transportation, moving companies, customer service, logistics, linehaul, intermodal, warehouse, ground operations and air/ocean dispatching.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs., unassisted.
  • Ability to stand, lift, squat for extended period of time- Requires good Physical Condition.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written direction.
  • MS Office program and transportation management software knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Work effectively with Dispatch and drivers to coordinate recoveries and deliveries
  • Manage driver arrival / check in process – insuring arrival of complete shipments / notating exceptions and resolution.
  • Keep Track of Shipment Lifecycle, including but not limited to entering important driver and shipment updates into TMS and other required software
  • Dispatch Administration Duties – job document organization, labeling, record/ log keeping, emails and phone answering responsibilities.
  • Provide excellent, professional, and timely customer service whether handling customer inquiries, complaints, quotes, or support in order maintenance processes.
  • Ability to successfully coordinate and collaborate between multiple departments, customers, and service providers.
  • Transfer data from bill of lading to company freight operating management system.
  • Provide clerical support to daily operations, including, but not limited to, answering the telephone/ emails, photocopying, printing, faxing, filing, record maintenance, scanning and document breakdown.
  • Collect, safekeep, and help upkeep all relevant customer data.
  • Maintain open communication with customers to ensure all parties are clear in direction, whether confirming pickup/ delivery time and date, ensuring all mandatory forms are completed and attached, or if any moves need to have any specialized freight requirements or appointment.
  • Assist customers in tracking and tracing their freight, when needed.
  • Notify customers of Freight Availability, Capacity, and other Important Information.
  • Will need to maintain knowledge of company services.
  • Work and Coordinate Effectively with your team to ensure freight is delivered on time.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist Management in operational KPI reports as needed.
  • Able to us a forklift loading, offloading, and sorting freight in the warehouse.
