About The Position

BCI Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Administrator to join our growing team and work in central Minnesota. Headquartered out of Sauk Rapids, MN. BCI specializes in Commercial, Medical, and Institutional Construction. An Operations Administrator is an integral part of the organization’s daily operations. The role is responsible for supporting day-to-day operation of the office while providing administrative, project compliance and organizational support to project teams and company leadership. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and incoming communications.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of administrative, office support or customer service experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, or equivalent knowledge.
  • Valid driver’s license

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
  • Construction industry experience

Responsibilities

  • Physical front desk presence and greet visitors
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and general office communications
  • Prepare correspondence, presentations and other documents as needed
  • Order office supplies and maintain appropriate inventory levels
  • Retrieve, sort and distribute company mail
  • Distribute accounts payable invoices to the appropriate project team members for review and approval
  • Process overhead invoices in accordance with company procedures
  • Track project compliance requirements and deadlines
  • Enter and maintain compliance documentation in company systems in accordance with established processes
  • Manage Office and Field Staff PTO, Holidays, and Others as assigned
  • Support all Company Meetings
  • Serve as main point of contact for office and kitchen supply needs
  • Maintain conference rooms, common areas, supply rooms, and breakroom spaces
  • Assist in ensuring office environment remains organized and professional
  • Provide administrative support to Project Managers, Superintendents, and other team members as assigned
  • Maintaining and tracking field clothing inventory
  • Coordinate biannual office staff clothing orders
  • Assist with coordination of company events as needed
  • Support additional administrative and operations initiatives as assigned
