About The Position

Ericsson is seeking an Operational Sourcing Intern to support its North American business. The intern will work in a fast-paced, changing environment and gain exposure to stakeholders across Sourcing, Accounting, Commercial, Operations, and transformation teams. The work focuses on sourcing analytics, reporting, automation, supplier insights, and procurement transformation. The internship is based in Plano, Texas, lasts 12 weeks, and starts May 25, 2027. Requirements

Working toward a bachelor's or master's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Outstanding performance in analytical subjects, such as creating dashboards, reports, or automated workflows.
Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot, AI/ML concepts, or other analytics platforms.
Basic understanding of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or supplier management processes.
Interest in telecommunications, technology, or digital transformation initiatives.
GPA of at least 2.7 on a 4.0 scale, or equivalent.
Actively enrolled full-time at an accredited undergraduate, master's, or PhD program at a four-year college or university during the internship.
Available for a full-time internship lasting 12 weeks.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain reporting dashboards covering supplier performance, spend, compliance, savings, and operational metrics.
Develop analytical models to identify sourcing opportunities, process inefficiencies, and supplier trends.
Use AI and automation tools to streamline sourcing workflows and improve business processes.
Assist in developing data pipelines, reporting solutions, and automated workflows using Microsoft and enterprise platforms.
Support the design and enhancement of Power BI dashboards and executive reporting tools.
Explore generative AI, copilot, and intelligent automation use cases in sourcing processes.
Analyze large datasets and turn findings into actionable business recommendations.
Partner with sourcing professionals to identify process digitization and automation opportunities.
Support strategic projects involving data governance, supplier insights, predictive analytics, and procurement transformation.
