About The Position

Lead the implementation of AXIS, our shop floor management model, ensuring adoption through the technical and human side of the change. Co-design and co-implement the AXIS model in each of the Nemak HPDC America Plants. This must be done in collaboration with the consulting team, as well as with the management team of the aforementioned plants.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field
4+ years’ related experience in Lean Manufacturing and Transformation
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills (English required)
Change Management Practitioner
Experience in Manufacturing and Operations

Responsibilities

Design together with Consultant and plant members, an AXIS diagnosis
Deploy workshops to co-design each of the 5 AXIS elements with the plant management team
Implement solutions for each of the 5 AXIS elements
Responsible for the timely execution of projects related to the improvement of shop floor management. Deliver to the Lean & AXIS manager and operations manager, the general status of the projects related to AXIS, reporting gaps or important incidents.
Ensure the execution of the design process and installation projects in accordance with current methodologies and design principles established by the AXIS model
Execute AXIS change projects and initiatives, meeting objectives on time and on budget by increasing adoption and use of team members focused on the people side of change, including changes to processes, systems, and technology, job functions and organizational structures through change management tools like ADKAR.
Identify the gaps between current state vs future state to define the impact and assess the risks of change in the organization.
Plan mitigation measures that favor the adoption of change and increase its speed.
Provoke the necessary synergies between different areas that allows the reduction of friction during the transformation process.
Identify the impacted audiences and the level of change they will undergo to generate communication, training and/or ad hoc accompaniment actions for each one.
Define the general change strategy that facilitates adoption, managing the obstacles that arise.
Establish the actions that generate buying for the project (events, informative sessions, go live, etc.)
Generate the 5 change management plans during the AXIS projects, supported by the ADKAR diagnosis. (communication plan, Sponsor roadmap, training plan, coaching plan and resistance plan)
