Requirements

  • College Diploma (DEC) or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in personnel supervision (or Team management experience)
  • Knowledge of compressed air systems is a major asset
  • Knowledge of piping systems is an asset
  • General knowledge of information technology (IT)

Responsibilities

  • Supervises the shipping and receiving clerk team
  • Coordinates and assigns tasks to team members
  • Prioritizes various tasks and requests
  • Proficient in Power Pick Global software and Kardex Shuttle systems
  • Oversees the placement of received goods into appropriate warehouse sections (compressors, dryers, motors, pumps, and oils)
  • Supervises the setup and installation of compressors and dryers for testing, modification, or shipping purposes
  • Oversees the preparation and packaging of goods for shipment (including the construction of wooden pallets)
  • Supervises the movement of parts and/or materials required for modifications or maintenance
  • Oversees the preparation and shipping of materials for trade shows
  • Performs goods receiving within the SAP system
  • Collects and labels parts under warranty
  • Requests transportation quotes and schedules carriers as needed
  • Supervises activities related to the annual physical inventory
  • Oversees long-term storage and effectively coordinates stock rotation
  • Develops and improves ISO policies and procedures regarding procurement and inventory management
  • Prepares monthly reports on minimum supply levels and other reports as requested by the Director
  • All other related tasks
