About The Position

ChristianaCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room team at Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware. The role is part of a collaborative team providing surgical care in a fast-paced environment at a hospital that is a Level I Trauma Center and holds Magnet status. The position is full-time/flex, scheduled for 72 hours bi-weekly on a day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., four days per week. The schedule includes one to two spring/summer holidays, one fall/winter holiday, one weekend every four weeks, and trauma call once per month. The posting also notes PRN coverage of two to three shifts per month.

The successful candidate may be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus, paid over 12 months. The stated hourly pay range is $42.11–$67.37; actual compensation depends on individual skills, relevant experience, and qualifications.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure.
• Operating Room Registered Nurse experience.
• BSN required, or dedication to acquiring a BSN within three years of the date of hire.
