About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver patient care to high standards in a fast-paced operating room environment. The unit includes 11 operating rooms and one endoscopy suite, with 45 professionals, including 11 nurses and 11 technicians on day shifts. The patient ratio is 1:1. Equipment includes various operating room equipment, multiple types of orthopedic beds, and four robotic surgical systems. The electronic medical record system is MEDITECH. The position is based in Corpus Christi, Texas. The schedule rotates across weekdays and includes rotating weekend calls. Scrubs are provided.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR).
Responsibilities
- Perform direct patient care in the operating room.
- Assist with surgical procedures, including general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, trauma, neurosurgery, spine surgery, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), and bariatrics.
