About The Position

The Health & Life Sciences Operating Model Consultant works with multidisciplinary teams to help pharmaceutical, biotech, medtech, and healthcare clients transform how their organizations operate. The role applies scientific knowledge to high-profile transformations and develops expertise in health and life sciences operating design and business transformation. The consultant designs future-state operating models, organizational structures, governance, capabilities, and ways of working; analyzes business challenges and develops recommendations, business cases, and transformation roadmaps; facilitates client discussions and workshops with stakeholders from operational teams to executive leadership; and assesses organizational capabilities and operating practices to identify opportunities for improved performance and transformation. The position offers exposure to complex client challenges, collaboration with specialists across healthcare, life sciences, strategy, transformation, technology, and innovation, and a structured development pathway in business and operating model design. The consultant may contribute to the growth of the team and develop expertise across pharmaceutical, biotech, medtech, and broader healthcare organizations. The role follows a hybrid approach, with at least two days per week in the office or at a client site; assignment needs may require up to five days per week at a client site.

Requirements

At least 2 years of professional experience in consulting, health and life sciences, transformation, or a related industry role.
Experience supporting clinical, R&D, medical, regulatory, commercial, or enterprise transformation initiatives within pharmaceutical, biotech, medtech, or healthcare organizations.
Understanding of the scientific processes relevant to clients’ challenges and solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations and insights.
Proactive approach and desire to solve difficult challenges with creativity and structure.

Nice To Haves

Background in consulting, healthcare, life sciences, transformation, business analysis, organizational design, or strategy.
Experience with pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, and patient-centered operating models and organizational design.
Experience with clinical development, R&D, or commercial transformation.
Experience with governance, capability, and process design.
Experience with enterprise and technology-enabled transformation.
Experience with change delivery, product ownership, or agile ways of working.
