About The Position

The Operating Engineer supports the operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems. This is an on-site role in Indianapolis, Indiana. The position also supports tenant service requests, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, safety compliance, and ongoing technical, safety, and operational training.

Requirements

At least 3 years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry.
Universal CFC EPA certification, or interest in achieving it within the first year with JLL assistance.
Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall.
Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift, and/or drive.
Strong customer service skills.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Trade school education, union training, military service, or college.

Responsibilities

Complete assigned work such as painting, pressure washing, maintaining lighting system bulbs and ballasts, plumbing, HVAC systems, water treatment, locksmith work, and general maintenance, subject to licensing requirements.
Maintain the CMMS work order system daily and complete tenant service requests.
Perform assigned preventive maintenance and inspection tasks.
Support on-call or emergency response situations, if applicable.
Troubleshoot building systems, including electrical, DDC, and pneumatic controls.
Comply with safety procedures.
Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs.
Complete other assigned projects and tasks.
