About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst to conduct deep dive research, produce analytic products, and support intelligence requirements with advanced collection techniques using a DoD-approved Managed Attribution system. If you have strong technical and analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity for you to use those skills to protect our national security and inform national-level decision makers. As an OSINT Analyst on our team, you’ll explore new data sources, create effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources to support the U.S. government and operational partners. Apply your expertise in qualitative and quantitative analysis to enhance the client’s mission. You’ll discover and exploit available social media content, develop OSINT tradecraft workflows and documents, and integrate OSINT findings across multiple intelligence disciplines and systems. Your responsibilities include testing and evaluating new OSINT tools and techniques, writing and reviewing reports, and advising on policy and procedural improvements.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience with OSINT collection methods, including advanced analytical principles, data exploitation, and developing collection and risk assessments
  • Experience with digital searches and producing collection requirements, research summaries, presentations, and OSIRs
  • Experience identifying and analyzing disinformation, including source vetting for bias and inaccuracy
  • Knowledge of DoD OSINT policies and regulations
  • Knowledge of OSINT platforms, datasets, technologies, critical internet environments, and associated tradecraft
  • Ability to conduct independent analysis to support mission requirements and use advanced search techniques and tools to support the usage of OSINT
  • Ability to independently manage research and coordination for both long-term and quick-term projects
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs, Political Science, Foreign Area Studies, Linguistics, Library Science, Cybersecurity, or a Research field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience evaluating and recommending OSINT platforms, technologies, and datasets
  • Experience with a programming language such as Python or R
  • Knowledge of intelligence disciplines, including SIGINT, HUMINT, GEOINT, and MASINT
  • Master’s degree in International Affairs, Political Science, Foreign Area Studies, Linguistics, Library Science, Cybersecurity, or a Research field
