About The Position

Amentum is seeking a highly motivated, self-starting Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret-SCI clearance. This role provides mid-level analytic expertise to the DCSA OSINT Analysis team, reviewing submitted packages to ensure they meet basic submission requirements and providing direction and support to customers who need to remedy package errors or have status questions. The analyst will produce RIRs by conducting all-source research from public, private, and U.S. and foreign Government open-source materials, evaluating facts against established DCSA risk indicators. The position involves assessing foreign and domestic-based publicly available information to identify trends, patterns, and relationships that provide unique insights to address defense intelligence requirements. The role also supports IS Entity Vetting (EV), which includes Verification and Triage Unit (VTU), Due Diligence Unit (DDU), and Risk Management Unit (RMU). EV is responsible for producing timely, relevant, and actionable triage, business and security-centric due diligence research, reporting, analysis, and risk management products, recommendations, and decisions to evaluate risk and FOCI, negotiate and sustain risk management strategies and FOCI action plans, and provide end-to-end management support. Counterintelligence (CI) performs an essential function through its Threat Integration Branch (TIB), providing timely, relevant, and actionable threat reports to EV decision-makers. The analyst will conduct analytical research to establish threats to U.S. technologies, information, and supply chains impacting cleared industry, cleared personnel, DOD, and DCSA. Responsibilities include processing, updating, and tracking cases, actions, products, and reviews in the system of record and other databases. The role requires researching, synthesizing, exploiting, evaluating, and analyzing all-source reporting on U.S. Government critical technologies, programs, information, and supply chains. The analyst will conduct all-source, business, security, and intelligence-related research and analysis using commercial subscription tools (e.g., Bloomberg), open-source research, Government databases, and intelligence reporting focused on U.S. and foreign companies and affiliated parties. This includes producing Threat Information Reports (TIRs) and developing analytical products that effectively articulate threats, demonstrating analytic integrity, rigor, and tradecraft standards by adhering to applicable IC Directives and DoD Instructions.
