Amentum is seeking a highly motivated, self-starting Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret-SCI clearance. This role involves providing mid-level analytic expertise to the DCSA OSINT Analysis team, reviewing submitted packages for accuracy, and supporting customers with package errors or status inquiries. The analyst will produce RIRs by conducting all-source research from public, private, and government open-source materials, evaluating facts against established DCSA risk indicators, and assessing foreign and domestic publicly available information to identify trends, patterns, and relationships relevant to defense intelligence requirements. The position also supports Entity Vetting (EV) mission areas (Verification and Triage Unit, Due Diligence Unit, Risk Management Unit) by producing timely, relevant, and actionable research, reporting, analysis, and risk management products to evaluate risk and FOCI. This includes negotiating and sustaining risk management strategies and FOCI action plans. The Threat Integration Branch (TIB) provides timely, relevant, and actionable threat reports to EV decision-makers. The analyst will conduct analytical research to identify threats to U.S. technologies, information, and supply chains impacting cleared industry, personnel, DOD, and DCSA. Responsibilities include processing, updating, and tracking cases, actions, products, and reviews in the system of record and other databases. The role requires researching, synthesizing, exploiting, evaluating, and analyzing all-source reporting on U.S. Government critical technologies, programs, information, and supply chains. The analyst will conduct all-source, business, security, and intelligence-related research and analysis using commercial tools, open-source research, government databases, and intelligence reporting to produce Threat Information Reports (TIRs). Developing analytical products that effectively articulate threats, demonstrating analytic integrity, rigor, and tradecraft standards, and adhering to IC Directives and DoD Instructions are key. Producing analytic products within established timelines and disseminating intelligence information to customers and stakeholders are also required. Some locations may require local travel within the U.S. The role requires working both independently and with teams.
