About The Position
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) Adams School of Dentistry invites applications for either a full-time, fixed-term faculty position or tenure/tenure track faculty position in the Division of Diagnostic Sciences. The division has a strong pre-doctoral oral and maxillofacial pathology curriculum, an outstanding oral and maxillofacial pathology advanced education program, a commitment to community service, an active faculty practice, collaboration with many clinics and divisions within the school and university, and history of funded extramural research. We are seeking an oral and maxillofacial pathologist who is an outstanding educator, clinician, scientist, and communicator and who will participate in didactic and clinical instruction as well as in research activity. The successful candidate will also be expected to mentor graduate students in their research projects for their Master’s degree. A State of North Carolina limited academic dental license may be available for qualified candidates. Participation in an intramural faculty practice is expected. Faculty rank, track and salary will be determined after review of the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
