About The Position
The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences in Memphis, Tennessee, is seeking a full-time non-tenure track Psychiatrist for adult outpatient and adult consultation liaison, emergency psychiatry, and outpatient psychiatry. This is an Open Rank faculty position. The department hosts a rich training and clinical program, with psychiatric care and training at Alliance Behavioral Health, Lakeside Behavioral Health, the Memphis Veterans Administration hospital, the Memphis Mental Health Institute, Regional One Health, UT University Clinical Health, the Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We train about 175 medical students per year, and sponsor a Psychiatry Residency, a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship, and a Post-pediatric Portal Fellowship.
Requirements
- MD, DO, or equivalent.
- Board certification or board eligible.
- Completion of an accredited residency or equivalent, as permitted by state law, is required
- Current licensure as a Physician in Tennessee
- Current DEA certification number
- Eligible for malpractice insurance
