About The Position

The full-time annual base salary range for this position is $82,667.52-$140,491.52. Commensurate with experience, education & internal equity. This position leads statewide perinatal substance use disorder (SUD) activities within the Oregon Perinatal Collaborative (OPC). This includes coordination, outreach, promotion of best practices, leadership for quality improvement with hospitals, clinics, and treatment programs, and advocacy activities to improve integrated care for pregnant and postpartum people with substance use disorders in Oregon. This position will also design and monitor evaluation metrics for the program and work on continual program improvement. This is a limited duration position funded by the SUD Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) Catalyst grant. This position works directly with hospitals, clinics, and treatment programs across the state and coordinates with public health. This position will coordinate between the OPC perinatal SUD program and OPC's other programs and projects. Significant clinical experience with perinatal SUD and strong interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this role.

Requirements

  • Masters or PhD required
  • At least 5 years of experience providing integrated perinatal SUD care
  • Quality improvement
  • Perinatal SUD treatment knowledge

Responsibilities

  • OPC Perinatal SUD program leadership
  • Serve as content expert and advisor on perinatal SUD care
  • Collaborate with leaders in perinatal SUD care across the state to ensure program efforts are in alignment with OPC priorities and existing programs
  • Report out tasks and accomplishments to OPC executive director and steering committee
  • Coordinate stakeholder involvement in RHTP grant statewide perinatal SUD care coordination and improvement activities
  • Work in close coordination with OHA and Comagine Health perinatal SUD teams
  • Create policy recommendations with stakeholder input to improve perinatal SUD care
  • Outreach and coordination with hospitals, clinics, treatment programs and Nurture Oregon sites
  • Travel to sites to support perinatal SUD coordination and program development
  • Plan statewide perinatal SUD convenings
  • Serve as content expert and advisor on perinatal SUD care to partners as needed
  • Provide quality improvement leadership and coaching related to perinatal SUD care.
  • Develop statewide perinatal SUD data strategy with OPC Director if Quality Improvement
  • Partner with Nurture Oregon sites and treatment programs to identify quality improvement priorities and implement quality improvement processes
  • Apply and teach quality improvement principles and practices to promote integrated and effective perinatal SUD care
  • Support Nurture Oregon sites, hospitals, clinics, and treatment programs to initiate projects to improve coordination of care
  • Partner with ECHO to create perinatal SUD provider community of practice
  • Lead program evaluation, monitor and address budget needs.
  • Monitor progress towards key deliverables consistent with project plan and OPC guidelines
  • Responsible for program budget with OPC executive director, calculate projections, track spending, investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies
  • Prepare reports on progress and outcomes of program
