About The Position

Rio Tinto is seeking several Operators – Electrolysis Sector for positions based in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean. Reporting to the operations supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for operating industrial equipment and monitoring the process in their sector. Working on a rotating schedule (day, evening, night), you will have the following responsibilities: Operate industrial equipment Monitor the manufacturing operations of products Prepare materials and/or products necessary for production Ensure machine efficiency Control product quality Apply safety rules Perform all other related tasks

Requirements

High school diploma or recognized equivalent (TENS)
Minimum of two (2) years of industrial or manual experience and/or ten (10) years of work experience (all fields combined)
Team spirit
Good manual dexterity
Autonomy and resourcefulness

Nice To Haves

AEC in Industrial Process/Ore Treatment
DEP in Foundry
Valid driver's license (Class 5)
