Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, food, or chemical industry.
  • Computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in electronics and/or mechanics is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Act primarily as a Manufacturing Operator for 60% of the time.
  • Participate in the implementation and optimization of standardized work.
  • Participate in and monitor a deployment and maintenance plan for standardized work in the production department (Weighing, Manufacturing, Packaging, and other related processes).
  • Propose ideas and participate in projects for the improvement of standardized work.
  • Participate in the program to reduce changeover times.
  • Participate in SMED workshops to reduce changeover times.
  • Coordinate 5S workshops.
  • Participate in the DMS production performance piloting program.
  • Participate in performance improvement meetings with various support departments.
  • Follow up on actions to be implemented.
  • Participate in the application and promotion of Lean Manufacturing best practices and Continuous Excellence (CE) pillars.
  • Participate in problem-solving processes.
  • Participate in various Kaizen projects in production.
  • Provide support in the implementation of various tools.
  • Participate in special projects to improve operational performance.
  • Participate in Asset Intensity Improvement.
  • Support the production team in executing certain tasks.
  • Work closely with operators, technicians, supervisors, and specialists to maintain constant vigilance and identify areas for improvement.
