About The Position

Haleon is currently looking for a Packaging Operator - Rotating Shift to join the Montreal (Saint-Laurent) team. As a Packaging Operator – Rotating Shift, you will be responsible for carrying out the preparation, packaging, and cleaning activities for equipment and work areas, while ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as the quality of packaged products.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in French is required for effective communication and adherence to operational and regulatory standards.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment, respecting quality and safety standards.
  • Ability to perform physical work (handling loads, standing work).
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate equipment.
  • Experience with computer systems or production transactions.
  • Team spirit, autonomy, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning of equipment, rooms, and work surfaces.
  • Dismantle, clean, and assemble packaging equipment according to procedures.
  • Execute line clearances and prepare equipment for batches.
  • Follow GMP procedures and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
  • Troubleshoot equipment during operation and intervene according to production priorities.
  • Verify the cleanliness and condition of equipment and the quality of products.
  • Participate in the start-up of certain non-complex equipment.
  • Ensure compliant documentation (forms, logs, labels) according to GMP.
  • Handle loads, feed hoppers, and palletize.
  • Perform computer transactions related to operations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and shift meetings.
  • Manage waste and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
  • Train or support colleagues as needed.
