The Magee-Womens Fetal Center (MWFC) is seeking a compassionate, organized, and highly motivated Nurse Coordinator I to join our multidisciplinary team in a flex full-time outpatient role. MWFC provides comprehensive, family-centered care for patients facing a diagnosis of a fetal condition during pregnancy. Our nationally recognized program brings together experts in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Neonatology, Fetal Surgery, Perinatal Supportive Care, Pediatric Cardiology, and Prenatal Genetics to deliver coordinated, state-of-the-art care throughout the pregnancy journey. In this key role, the Nurse Coordinator serves as a central resource for patients, families, and physician providers, ensuring seamless coordination of care through exceptional communication, attention to detail, and reliability. The coordinator works closely with a collaborative team dedicated to improving outcomes for complex fetal conditions through advanced therapies and fetal surgical interventions. The Outpatient Nurse Coordinator is a Registered Nurse and a member of the care delivery team. The Outpatient Nurse Coordinator is responsible for the care of the patient in a global view, accountable for multiple aspects of the patient care package even when patient contact is minimized. The Outpatient Nurse Coordinator uses independent judgment and continued communication with the patient, family, physician and community resources to assist the patient in attaining a measure of outpatient health. The Outpatient Nurse Coordinator has a commitment to the community and to the nursing profession.
