The OnSite Specialist role is a field-based position requiring the individual to provide clinical surgical support by managing all relevant equipment. This includes anticipating the device needs of the Operating Room (O.R.) staff and surgeon during surgical procedures. The specialist is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining Stryker equipment and other related devices, working collaboratively with surgeons, O.R. personnel, central processing, biomedical staff, and others. Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base of equipment and disposable products through Stryker education training programs is crucial. The role involves providing physicians and OR personnel with information on new and current products, accurately recording and reporting data metrics related to job functions monthly, and maintaining up-to-date account information to ensure high service levels. The specialist must accurately record and report all surgical procedure information, adhere to all Stryker and medical facility policies, and analyze and resolve product issues expediently using independent judgment. The ability to provide on-call services as required by the medical facility is also a key function.
