About The Position

Utilizes a wide array of knowledge, technical skills and critical thinking abilities to facilitate job functions during surgical procedures as well as preoperative and postoperative equipment management. This role involves providing clinical surgical support by managing all relevant equipment, anticipating the needs of OR staff and surgeons, and troubleshooting/maintaining Stryker equipment and other related devices. The specialist will work collaboratively with surgeons, OR personnel, central processing, biomedical staff, and others. Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base of equipment and disposable products through Stryker education is crucial. The role also includes providing physicians and OR personnel with information on new and current products, accurately recording and reporting data metrics, and maintaining continuous high levels of service at assigned accounts, including vendor credentialing. Accurate recording and reporting of surgical procedure information is required, along with adherence to all Stryker and medical facility policies, standards, and procedures. The specialist will analyze and resolve product issues expediently using independent judgment, maintain a professional appearance and attitude, and adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality policies.

Requirements

  • Responsible for maintaining up-to-date account information to ensure continuous high levels of service at the account ; including all vendor credentialing required by the account.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support / coverage on all shifts at your assigned account , as we l l as provide support/ coverage at other account in and outside your region ; o ther shifts might include on-call , overnight, and weekends ; o ther accounts might require overnight travel.
