About The Position

We are seeking a Onsite Recruiter to join our team at a manufacturing client in Canonsburg, PA. This role is focused on recruiting and supporting a high-volume hourly workforce in a production/manufacturing environment. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and client leadership to build a strong candidate pipeline, recruit hourly production employees, coordinate interviews, communicate with candidates, and help ensure open positions are filled quickly with qualified people. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment, and understands that recruiting hourly talent requires high-touch candidate engagement, urgency, follow-up, and strong relationship-building skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of recruiting experience, preferably recruiting hourly employees in a high-volume environment.
  • Previous HR, staffing, recruiting, or workforce management experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, distribution, or similar environments strongly preferred.
  • Experience recruiting for hourly, high-volume positions and managing multiple openings at the same time.
  • Strong sourcing skills using job boards, social media, resume databases, and other recruiting tools.
  • Excellent communication and candidate follow-up skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while partnering closely with Operations and client leadership.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Positive, high-energy attitude and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ATS/recruiting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and source hourly production/manufacturing employees to meet client staffing needs and hiring goals.
  • Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, resume databases, referrals, community outreach, and other recruiting channels.
  • Screen candidates and conduct initial phone interviews to assess qualifications, availability, work history, and fit for production roles.
  • Maintain an active candidate pipeline and consistently follow up with applicants throughout the recruiting process.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates, recruiters, supervisors, and client leadership.
  • Manage high-volume inbound recruiting activity, including phone calls, emails, texts, and candidate questions.
  • Support onboarding activities and ensure candidates receive clear communication regarding next steps.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and employee records in recruiting systems.
  • Help communicate workplace policies, procedures, schedules, and expectations to employees.
  • Partner with the Operations Manager to identify staffing challenges and develop recruiting solutions.
  • Provide a positive candidate experience while moving qualified candidates efficiently through the hiring process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
