About The Position

The Onsite Maintenance Technician performs general maintenance of buildings and grounds at the Yosemite Lakes Owners Association community in Coarsegold, California, under the direction of the Maintenance Director. The role includes preventative and routine maintenance, work-order completion, janitorial and grounds work, periodic inspections, and advising the supervisor about needed repairs, improvements, and safety issues. The work covers a range of building and grounds maintenance areas, including carpentry, concrete, doors, drywall, fencing, cleaning, gutters, locks, plumbing, and painting. Duties may evolve based on Board direction and community needs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals to perform the essential functions. The position is full-time, with a typical schedule of 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. On-call nights and weekends are required for maintenance emergencies, and some Saturdays and Sundays may be part of the normal schedule. The role may also require overtime and varying schedules. Yosemite Lakes Park is a non-gated community in the Central California Sierra Mountain foothills near Coarsegold, with residential properties, landscaped grounds, buildings, and community amenities. Requirements

At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
Experience with carpentry, concrete, doors, drywall, fencing, plumbing, and painting.
Own tools and transportation.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Proficient problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of how to use tools, supplies, materials, and chemicals safely, without endangering oneself, employees, residents, the environment, or the public.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach frequently.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally heavier objects with assistance.
Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely.
Visual acuity to inspect equipment, read gauges, and perform detailed tasks.
Hearing ability to detect alarms, equipment sounds, and verbal instructions in noisy environments.
Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, dust, noise, and outdoors.
Ability to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
Ability to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, on-call hours, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and routine maintenance.
Ensure completion of work orders using the work-order system.
