About The Position

The Onsite Endoscopic Specialist provides hands-on, customer-facing support for KARL STORZ medical devices and advanced visualization systems within a hospital environment. The role works closely with Operating Room (OR), Sterile Processing (SPD), and BioMed teams to ensure equipment is ready for surgical procedures and supports successful patient outcomes. It offers exposure to clinical environments and medical technology, with potential career growth across sales, leadership, and education. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in sterile processing, surgical technology, sales, or other clinical or medical environments.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in fast-paced, service-driven teams.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to multitask.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and reporting tools.
Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree.
CRCST certification or interest in obtaining certification.
Experience supporting surgical equipment or medical devices.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on, face-to-face support to OR, SPD, and BioMed teams to ensure seamless use of KARL STORZ equipment.
Set up and support video towers and integrated systems for surgical procedures.
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and coordinate replacement of instruments and equipment.
Transport, clean, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments for use.
Manage repair processes, track equipment status, and facilitate service transactions.
Troubleshoot equipment issues in real time in the operating room to support successful procedures.
