GRCC is a non-profit operating under Montana State Child Care Licensing, guaranteeing top-tier and quality standards of care. GALLATIN RIVER CHILD CARE IS CURRENTLY SEEKING CANDIDATES FOR A ONSITE CHILDCARE MANAGER. The Onsite Childcare Manager oversees the daily operations of an organization’s childcare facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children. This role combines leadership, compliance, staff supervision, and family engagement.
Requirements
- Continued education towards a CDA
- 5+ years of childcare experience, including lead roles
- Knowledge of childcare licensing regulations
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Level 3 on the MTECP registry
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Ensure a structured daily schedule that supports children’s development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
- Supervise and support childcare staff and professional development
- Staff Oversite (coordinate staff meetings, on-going training, PR, support staff scheduling)
- Report to Directors
- Manage coverage of staffing ratios
- Ensure compliance with all state and local childcare licensing regulations (annual renewal & upkeep of student documents)
- Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Oversee emergency preparedness plans and drills
- Build strong relationships with families
- Coordinate maintenance repairs
- Conduct tours for prospective parents and families
