About The Position

Nao Now is looking for enthusiastic and engaging STEM educators to inspire the next generation of young learners. This is a fully remote, part-time independent contractor position where you'll teach 1-on-1 English lessons to children ages 5–12 using our structured, interactive curriculum. We're looking for teachers who can naturally bring science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and critical thinking into classroom conversations. If you have a background in STEM and enjoy making complex ideas simple and exciting for children, we'd love to hear from you. No lesson planning is required. All curriculum and teaching materials are provided, allowing you to focus on delivering energetic, engaging lessons that build students' confidence in speaking English.

Requirements

Native English speaker
Bachelor's degree or proof of current enrollment in a bachelor's program
Academic background in one or more of the following: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Health Sciences, STEM/STEAM Education, Other related STEM disciplines
Experience working with children ages 5–12
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Friendly, engaging, and energetic teaching style
Reliable wired internet connection (minimum 60 Mbps)
Quiet, professional teaching environment
Headset (noise-cancelling preferred)
Wired ethernet connection
Stable internet connection (minimum 60 Mbps)
Computer less than five years old recommended
Professional, distraction-free workspace

Responsibilities

Teach 25-minute, one-on-one online English lessons to children ages 5–12
Deliver engaging lessons using Nao Now's structured curriculum
Incorporate age-appropriate STEM concepts and real-world examples into classroom discussions when appropriate
Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and confident English communication
Create a fun, supportive, and interactive learning environment
Provide thoughtful lesson feedback after each class
Maintain a professional, energetic, and encouraging on-camera presence
Commit to a consistent weekly teaching schedule
