About The Position

Program support for the online Elementary Education program (BSOELE) and other developing online education programs. Organize, coordinate, promote, and execute all areas related to the online programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Technical skills in the utilization of the Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to learn new technology advances such as SMART Sheets
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills in addressing co-workers, school administration and stakeholders, potential students, and current students both on-campus and statewide.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified teaching experience preferred
  • Experience working with K-12 school systems including school-level administrators and district leadership
  • Prior support role/office management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages advising and acts as initial point of contact for students and potential students in the BSOELE program.
  • Assists with education faculty and residency directors with mentorship placement and site coordination across the state.
  • Assists in the maintenance of student records while collaborating with program leadership, professional advisors, and/or district level administrators across the state.
  • Promote and recruit for the online programs across the state.
  • Maintains contact with advising center and updates faculty as needed.
  • Monitors and assists with accreditation needs for additional reports as well as reports for CAEP, ETIO, and LDOE.
  • Responds to requests accordingly from School of Education leadership, students, faculty and staff.
  • Participates in School of Education Committees.
  • Coordinates designated activities.
  • Works with appropriate offices across campus.
  • Assist with all other needs of the School of Education.
